I focused on how backlighting and sunrays could create both silhouette and depth, bringing the scene to life with subtle contrasts between light and shadow. The trees on the side and rolling hills in the distance frame the composition, inviting a peaceful reflection on nature’s stillness in fading daylight. This painting came together quickly on a whim, which made the process feel fresh and instinctive.
